RED BANK, South Carolina (TCD) — A 55-year-old man allegedly shot and killed his 48-year-old wife and 23-year-old daughter-in-law before turning the gun on himself when a minor was also in the house.
According to a press release from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, filming took place at a house in Bliss Lane. The husband, later identified by coroner’s office as William Busick, was taken to a local hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and was later pronounced dead.
The coroner’s office identified the suspect’s wife as Chastity Busick and his stepdaughter as Jasmine Busick.
Deputies located the minor in the house and said he was “unharmed”.
The sheriff’s office said it was likely an isolated shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
In a statement, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said, “This family has a tough road ahead. We are still talking to family and neighbors in an effort to gather all the information. »
