How to clean a very dirty shower cubicle?

Baking soda, the effective weapon against tartar
Difficult to escape: droplets of water always remain on the walls of the shower after your visit. If the water in your area is loaded with limestone, these droplets can have a negative impact. Indeed, they end up drying out, resulting in the formation of limescale deposits that are very difficult to remove. These unsightly stains can appear on the entire surface of the shower, both on the tray and on the tiles. To remedy this problem, baking soda is invaluable. Anti-tartar, anti-bacterial and anti-limestone, this white powder is perfect for banishing dirt without too much effort. The procedure is very simple: by mixing it with a little water, you will obtain a thick paste. Using a clean sponge, spread it over these scaled areas. Sediment and stains will disappear without a trace.
Also bet on citric acid and white vinegar
Thanks to its bleaching and disinfecting properties, citric acid also offers a very reliable result. Simply pour a glass of warm water into a spray bottle and add two tablespoons of citric acid to it. Mix thoroughly and spray the solution on the soiled areas. Wait a few minutes before cleaning with a cloth. Stains will no longer be relevant! Don’t have this product on hand? Against limescale and soap scum, you can also opt for a very effective duo: mixing white vinegar with hydrogen peroxide. In the sprayer, pour two glasses of water, a tablespoon of vinegar, half a glass of alcohol, a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid and half a glass of hydrogen peroxide. This remedy will work wonders on your shower cubicle: spray the solution on all the dirty elements, let it act for a few moments and wipe with a soft cloth.
Vinegar against limescale
To eradicate limescale and tartar stains on the shower cubiclee, white vinegar remains a trusted ally. You just need to mix it with water in a 1:1 ratio. Dip a clean sponge in this solution and clean the entire glass surface inside the shower enclosure. Then rinse the glass with water. If you notice that the stains are really stubborn, you can slightly heat the vinegar for an even better effect.

How to easily clean shower joints?
We have already mentioned it above, baking soda will also be ideal for cleaning the joints of the shower. Universal and versatile, this product is known to be a valuable everyday cleaning partner. You can count on its performance to disinfect various surfaces in the home, from the kitchen to the bathroom. It is thus an excellent ally for keep joints white, remove adhering dirt and neutralize all bacteria.
Here’s how to apply it:
- In a medium container filled with hot water, mix 100 g of baking soda, a little liquid soap and a little hydrogen peroxide to form a homogeneous paste.
- Apply it to the dirty surface and scrub the grooves with an old toothbrush or a special brush for this purpose.
- Leave it on for at least half an hour and rinse well when finished. Whiteness and shine guaranteed!
How to clean a yellowed shower tray?
Hydrogen peroxide is an ingenious solution to get rid of the yellowish stains that often appear in the bathtub or shower. Using a sprayer, spray it on these ugly traces and leave to act for about half an hour before rinsing. They will be completely gone!
